If you blinked, you may have missed the ICY & SOT debut show at Openhouse Gallery. But, fear not, it's right here...well, as much as I could capture in the completely packed space on Broome Street this past Thursday night. The show ran until today, Saturday only (Aug, 23-25, 2012), as it will quickly move on to other international venues.
We have seen their work around the city, but never this much as once --and prints for sale as well. One can't help notice their Banksy inspirations. Their art covers topics of love and hate, war and peace, despair, and so on. I'm not into political art, but the conversations and debates were brewing. Of course, I overheard some of it as I was shooting these photos. You'll notice Funero, Allison from Hendershot Gallery, Kid Lew and more, have a look at the event....
