The event only lasted a few days, first a preview reception with the artists late last week, then the auction. (The show is down now, so it's a good thing you subscribe to this blog!) Doyle New York (Upper East Side) was the location for the dynamic Street Art Auction hosted by Angelo Madrigale this past Monday. The exhibit/event featured many historical artists; below, meet Cope2, Indie184, Phetus, Trike 1 and see dozens of legendary street art and graffiti that went up for auction. No word on the sales yet but I'm sure they were plentiful, see a few of the starting bids by each piece below and have a look at the event....
