Street artists Lee Quinones, Christopher “DAZE” Ellis, and GEAR1, talk with author, musician, and filmmaker Sacha Jenkins and Louie "KR.ONE" Gasparro about the about the impact of DON1, one of the most influential graffiti writers of the 1970s and the subject of Gasparro’s new book, DON1, the King From Queens: The Life and Photos of a NYC Transit Graffiti Master (Schiffer Books, January, 2014). They will discuss the Astoria, Queens-born writer’s compelling life story and share some of the book’s 200 riveting photos of graffiti-covered BMT train lines taken by DON1 as a young man.
