(See the flyer below or at the bottom of the post for all of the info,.)
Donald Robertson's work is one of simplicity, beauty, style and humor - but he is not just a very busy artist working on projects in New York and internationally. He is also the head of Creative Development at mega beauty company Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and he was one of the three original founders of MAC Cosmetics where he helped laugh VIVA GLAM, which has raised hundreds of millions for the AIDS fight globally. If all that wasn't enough he's also the father of five (with newborn twins!)
If you are one of is 101k followers on Instagram you will notice that “Mr. Drawbertson” is posting daily with his latest creations, collaborations and maybe a few shots of the twins as well - always inspiring us. He has been delighting everyone around him with his fun, lighthearted, fashionable, chic, colorful, freehand artworks for years; some on recycled Whole Food bags, some on old shoe boxes from Zappos, that he has turned into a Louie Vuitton box/work of art. One of my favorites was his paintings of Karl Largerfeld's face on walnuts, priceless . Whether its collaborating with well know designer brands or making beautiful works of art out of recycled bags and objects, his whimsical style always makes us smile. Have a look at the exhibit, it will make you happy too.
