Cope2 X Ben Frost = Killer Exhibit At Krause Gallery

Last night, Krause Gallery on the Lower East Side presented Legends: Cope2 x Ben Frost to a packed gallery who came out to see two "legends" from opposite sides of the globe.  A few weeks ago the gallery featured both artists at SCOPE building excitement for this exhibit with many new pieces that I'm sure have all sold.
For this show, COPE2 displayed his famous tags and new abstracts and Frost delivered a wall of McDonald's and prescription drug packages covered in explicit cartoons which were a big delight!
Have a look a few of them below....
COPE2: (Right) Fernando Carlo (also known as Cope2) is an artist from the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx, New York. He has been a graffiti artist since 1978-79 and has gained international credit for his work, known worldwide as a NYC graffiti legend. It's not possible to pick up a graf or street art book without viewing many pages on COPE2.
Ben Frost: (Left) (born Brisbane, Australia) is a visual artist whose work seeks to challenge contemporary norms and values of Western culture and society. Frost’s hand painted visual work places common iconic images from advertising, entertainment, and politics into startling juxtapositions that are often confrontational and controversial. His work has been featured in numbers publications as well, and has a huge range of subject matter that's hysterical, edgy and just spot on. You can't help but love it. It's priceless.

This is one of my favorite Ben Frost pieces (above), as I love Twiggy.  It was not at the show and I'm sure it sold long ago, but I can dream....
The show runs through April 20, 2014 at 149 Orchard St. (L.E.S.), NYC.
