Young New Yorkers Silent Art Auction Brings Out NY's Finest!

Young New Yorkers, an arts-based restorative justice program for 16- and 17-year-olds with open criminal cases, hosted their second annual silent art benefit to fund this year's workshops and sponsor the participants.   I was exceptionally proud to attend and write on this event that betters our community, creativity.  The event took place last week at Allegra LaViola Gallery at 179 East Broadway, NYC, and the work collected here is a reflection of the artists' generosity and social awareness when it comes to bettering their environment.   Many of the sponsors are listed below with Paddle8 providing the auction services and representatives from the Brooklyn Defender Services.
