CLAWMONEY Decorates Fifth Avenue!

It was a sweltering hot day in the sun (during our last heat wave), a couple weeks ago when I hung out with legendary female graffiti writer Claw Money at Andaz 5th Avenue as she re-painted her famous Claw-door.  The (Hyatt) hotel / restaurant is located across from the New York Public Library at 41st Street off Bryant Park.  
Jump to the bottom and also see her brilliant larger than life, store window design for Lord & Taylor that took place last summer. This was one of my favorite art / fashion mixes so why not revisit it during the sprint of fashion week and always, all things art!

Rewind back to the early 90's, Claw & bombing partner Miss 17 were prolific "bombers" that earned the respect of writers everywhere.  Either solo or bombing together, this was an incredible duo that set the bar back in the day.
