Contemporary Artist Jonas Wood x Louis Vuitton Collaborate In Style

A favorite art x fashion collaboration has recently been released between artist Jonas Wood and Louis Vuitton paring vibrant, illustrative prints on an exclusive group of merchandise.

Wood, a contemporary artist known worldwide for colorful, detailed paintings has helped develop graphic silk scarves, shawls in wool and silk for the brand, (as seen below on display in the Soho, NYC location.)  They feature some of the artist’s best-known motifs like plants, basketballs and pottery created by Wood’s wife, artist Shio Kusaka, all represented with the signature LV monogram.

The collections boasts 11 pieces in a light blue and pink, or black and white juxtapose with one signature piece, a cotton and silk stole, featuring his hand-drawn wood grain print, the hand-lettered name, and Wood’s signature (above.)

Be sure to visit the Soho location at 116 Green Street, to view the art/fashion display and purchase a piece of contemporary art that you can wear year around.  (Perhaps more affordable than a piece bought at Gagosian!)
