Enjoying GOOD DAYS POP UP SHOP in the Meatpacking District!

Art & fashion right here, the way we like it:  A new Pop-Up shop has "popped up" in the Meat Packing District full of unique clothing and street art, how perfect!   "Enjoy Good Days" located at 55 Gansevoort St. sports three levels of food, nightlife and yes, shopping - and a good bit of street art too! Open daily, the ENJOY GOOD DAYS Pop Up Shop  presents CFDA Members and New York's hottest designers; Del Toro, Whit, The Trunk, Unruly Heir, Minnie Mortimer and more.
This is the entry way downstairs with a quick piece of art by Nick Walker so you know you're in the right place. Then you'll see this huge lips mural which I loved.  Next, loads of street art surrounded by fresh designer clothing scattered about.  The atmosphere has an English boutique/graffiti/club feel with the art literally adorning every single wall.
Support the designers, have a drink, dinner, shop around some more and enjoy...

Remember they are open daily, if you are in the MePa distrcit be sure to stop in!

A REAL TREAT! Live Painting by Nick Walker in Meatpacking Dist.-See It Step-by-Step!

All new work from the famous Nick Walker (Bristol), and colleague Stewart (Birmingham) in the Meat Packing District!  Meet "Allison," Walkers latest piece at 64 Gansevoort. I stumbled upon the guys just beginning to work yesterday afternoon as I went searching for the Diane Pernet piece that should have been right across the street.  But, the buildings owner quickly painted over it, a travesty!  Luckily, the guys had just begun to create "Allison" and also see more of their work on the metal doors right next to it.

You've heard "right place, right time..." yes, applies here, it was like Christmas! I was able to see first hand how these creations went up and have documented the whole event, which took less than an hour for them to spray, and friends, it's perfectly done. Walker is a serious, true,  professional, but you already knew that.  Sadly, no more Diane Pernet on the walls but this was an even bigger treat!

See the work going up step by step....
