Heart Beats Faster For Surreal Fashion/Art Mix by Jean-Francois LePage!

I found another new artist through one of my favorite sites www.trendland.com, Jean-Francois Lepage. While collages are considered as a generally surreal artistic expression, Jean-Francois Lepage throughout his career managed to imprint surrealism within the surrealism.

Both a fashion photographer and visual artist, his outcome is based on meticulously detailed photography, highly saturated colors and finely crafted illustration. Subconscious wanderings hide behind the frozen sets, but the drama is expressed through the extravagant wardrobe and model posing.

Lepage was born in Paris, France in 1960, his photography career began in 1980 and since his work has been published in many international magazines.  Just a few are AnotherMan, ALl Magazine, Doible, Bazaar, Mixte, Numero, Purple, Self Serve, Vogue and Wall Paper.  His bio also reports colabs with Comme des Garcons, Dior, Jil Sander, Lanvin, Levi's, Repetto and Shu Uemura.
