Art Inspired by Fashion, Skulls, Neon & More - Best of The Armory Art Fair - And It's Only The Beginning!

Early last week, it began, one of my favorite times of year, the ART FAIRS!  Beginning on Wednesday morning I visited the VIP opening of the Armory Show and SCOPE.  Next days, to Volta, Spring Break and back to SCOPE (because it was that good), and to many other events such as Clic Gallery's "New York Nights" book signing exhibit from James & Karla Murphy.  And, much, much more that you'll see all here, "my best of the best photos."
First, The Armorya leading international contemporary and modern art fair and one of the most important annual art events in New York, happens each March on Piers 92 & 94 in central Manhattan. This show is devoted to showcasing the most important artworks of the 20th and 21st centuries. In its fifteen years the fair has become an international institution, combining a selection of the world's leading galleries with an exceptional program of arts events and exhibitions throughout New York during the celebrated Armory Arts Week.  If you love contemporary art - this is for you.  Well, all of them are, have a look at the Armory Show...a few trends continuing; neon, words, neon words, fashion influences, skulls and abstract-modern like portraits and of course more Warhol.  So, let's begin with Warhol....
