Time To Head Uptown! Graffiti Legend & Artist CRASH Opens WALLWORKS in The Bronx

A new, premier gallery opened uptown last week by Bronx Graffiti Art legend John "CRASH" Matos called WALLWORKS, located at 39 Bruckner Blvd. at Alexander Avenue in the Bronx.  The doors opened to a stellar group exhibition entitled "First Taste" featuring over a dozen top artists with an official opening scheduled for January 2015.

And, it's a family affair; his daughter Anna, who has a Bachelor's degree in Art History and a Master's in Art Business, has top presence in running the gallery accompanied by sister Kristen, who will also assist in gallery operations.

The outside space also features an artist wall that will rotate every few months with a variety of artists.  The first "paint-christening" was adorned by fellow, famed Bronx artists Tats Cru, below.
Tats Cru members Bio and Nicer's wall is a tribute to Port Morris and the area’s Puerto Rican heritage.
