ONE Lust for Life Campaign + Top NYC Graffiti & Street Artists = Mega Art Benefit at Urban Outfitters!

This past Friday night, Urban Outfitters at Herald Square, NYC was the location for The ONE® Lust for Life Campaign.  The campaign is currently auctioning 22 works by some of the biggest names in the graffiti street art world with all proceeds benefiting Lifebeat, Music Fights HIV/AIDS.  Lifebeat is the leading national non-profit dedicated to educating America’s youth about HIV/AIDS prevention.

Many of our favorite NYC artists (listed above), recently painted their unique designs on an actual stop sign for the cause which you can see in store or through on-line auctioneer Paddle 8, http://paddle8.com/auction/lustforlife.  The auction is running now and closes on February 20, 2015.

Not just an art show!  Famed street and graffiti artists EYEZ and UR New York hosted the in-store, live painting presentation/tribute to Keith Haring, who is undoubtedly top inspiration for many artists working today.  Haring who change the (pop and contemporary), art world in the 1980's passed away on February 16, 1990 at age 31, from AIDS.  Billy Kidd, the artists and the organizations' executives also spoke about the importance of the event and it's impact on young people in our community.
