Art Basel Part II - DAIN at Avant Gallery, + Alec Monopoly at Avant, INAVDER'S Film, Pulse, Wynwood & MORE. Non-Stop MORE!

Art Basel Evening I, and more:  After Mr. Brainwash we headed over to Avant Gallery where some of the best contemporary and street artists were showing. What made me especially interested in this one was New York City based street/fine artist DAIN, one of my most favorites. I look for his amazing past ups all around the city and when I hear of one, I rush over to the location.  (I have pushed lots garbage out of the way in Brooklyn to get a decent view and shot of his beautiful images!)  Have a look at DAIN below at Avant Gallery, (http://avantgallery.com), also showing there, another big artist; Alec Monopoly.  And, big, big news, INVADER'S Art 4 Space documentary info & pics presented by Jonathan LeVine Gallery (NYC.)
Of course, more from Pulse, skull art (another favorite from Avant) and Wynwood gallery/street art happenings...

First, DAIN --if you live in NYC I'm sure you have seen these beauties!

My other love, above....

Now for INVADER...

On December 6, 2012, the Miami International Film Festival and Jonathan LeVine Gallery hosted the World Premier of Art 4 Space, a short film by artist INVADER.  The 30 minute documentary held at the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road was about Invader's project of launching a mosiac into the Earth's stratosphere.  We followed his/it's journey through most of south Florida and saw first hand, what it's like to be in space, or a piece of art in space! It made us smile the entire time.
Invader new book entitrled Mission Miami also documents this, and his recent works throughout Miami.  A must have to add to your art and street art book collection.  (Photos above and below, the artists mosiacs in the middle from the Pulse Fair.)
Visit this link of the gallery for many more pics (much better than mine) and more Invader and gallery info.:
