Extreme Art/Fashion Mix: Windows To Die For! Punk: Chaos To Couture at Bergdorf Goodman!

Each year in early May, The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art celebrates a new exhibition, this year they bring us PUNK: Chaos to Couture.  The exhibit runs through August 14, 2013 at and to get a little preview you can see the amazingly crafted Bergdorf Goodman windows which, many say, are even better than the actual show.  The beyond talented designers at Bergdorf's created a series of scenes from the 70's punk era, but with a twist of high, very high, fashion.  Before, of after you hit The Met, make sure you walk by the windows as it they will take your breathe away!
Note! This is NOT going to be a review of the show or anything about it as plenty of other outlets have had their say in a big, disapproving way,and discrediting the whole thing.  Therefore, I'm not touching it!  I simply want to show the detailed beauty of the windows that Bergdorf's is famous for.  (Growing up shortly after the punk era and still thinking I was Siouxie Sioux for years in the late 80's, early 90's, I like the whole concept - even if it is being described as "for the 'fashion' people only.")
