Luis Zimad Lamboy Exhibits Stellar Show At Lowbrow Artique in Brooklyn!

You have until July 31, 2013 (that's next week), to catch Luis Lamboy aka Zimad's show entitled "Arsenal' at Lowbrow Artique in Bushwick and you're in for a big treat.  Almost everyone I know in the street art/graffiti world was at the opening or has seen this detailed, highly skilled exhibit where the art stretches from floor to celling, wall to wall - and is actually in our price range.   Zimad has made this collective of mainly small works affordable to all and many have already sold, and sold fast!  There is still a nice selection up for grabs - but don't wait, obtain now.  His style is shifting into a more fine art, refined style, (yet keeping his graffiti roots) and I believe his work will be even more elaborate in which his value will no doubt skyrocket.
If you are a fan of graffiti and street art, you have seen his work all over NYC and in many books and magazine publications.  He is also a regular (painting) at 5 Pointz (http://5ptz.com) and participates in select gallery shows throughout the area.  Coming up I'll have a post on the "United We Paint" exhibit happening this weekend (7/19-7/21), in Dumbo / Brooklyn, where he also has displayed an amazing selection framed pieces that you'll want to grab now.

Here's the mega wall I'm speaking of at the gallery....
Don't be jealous but this is piece I bought very early in the day. Had I waited? Gone the second the doors opened.

Zimad, born in the South Bronx, began writing in 1979 when he was 14.  He is one of the most prominent graffiti writers of our time and you can learn more about him here:  http://5ptz.com/zimad-2010-bigger-better-stronger and visit the gallery here http://shop.lowbrowartique.com located at 143 Central Ave., Bushwick.

Above &  below, outside of Lowbrow....
...and the side wall of the gallery, you won't miss it.
